Cardiothoracic Surgeon – Houston Methodist West Hospital
Join Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group (HMSPG) as a board‑certified or board‑eligible cardiothoracic surgeon. The position focuses on thoracic (non‑cardiac) procedures, including lung resections for benign and malignant disease, mediastinal and pleural surgery, chest wall reconstruction, and offers minimally invasive and robotic approaches.
Responsibilities
Lead thoracic surgery cases, including lung, mediastinal, pleural, and chest wall procedures.
Utilize minimally invasive and robotic techniques when appropriate.
Participate in hospital quality and safety programs.
Engage in academic activities, including teaching and research, as part of HMSPG.
Qualifications
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in cardiothoracic surgery.
Strong interest and expertise in thoracic surgery.
Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
Commitment to excellence in patient care and academic scholarship.
