We seek compassionate, skilled physicians who thrive on clinical challenges, value interdisciplinary collaboration, and are committed to helping individuals achieve successful transitions back to community living.
What will you do? The Primary Care Physician role offers comprehensive ambulatory medical care in a multidisciplinary environment dedicated to patient‑centered behavioral health treatment. You will provide high‑quality general medical services in the onsite medical clinic and within inpatient units, collaborating with psychiatrists, unit staff, and other professionals to address complex health needs.
Qualifications
Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Completed a residency in Internal or Family Medicine in the United States or Canada.
Oregon medical license at time of appointment and maintained throughout employment.
MD and DO candidates encouraged to apply.

Clinical Expertise in Primary Care
– Comprehensive general medical care, office procedures, diagnostic interpretation, and complex medical needs in clinic and inpatient settings.
Collaborative and Consultative Approach
– Consult with psychiatrists, unit staff, and other professionals, facilitating referrals and interpreting specialist recommendations.
Strong Communication Skills
– Engage patients, families, and agencies to promote well‑being, provide updates, and address concerns compassionately.
Commitment to Professional Development
– Serve on committees, attend departmental meetings, and contribute to hospital community leadership.
