Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Architect to join our client's team on a contract basis. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data architecture using Snowflake. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement data architecture solutions using Snowflake.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure optimal data flow.
Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
Optimize Snowflake performance and manage data storage costs.
Ensure data governance and security best practices are followed.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, specifically with Snowflake.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data integration tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Skills
Experience with data modeling and data governance frameworks.
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Certification in Snowflake or related data architecture credentials.
