Job Summary
The Cable Assembler is responsible for assembling, soldering, and testing cable harnesses in accordance with engineering drawings and quality standards. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to perform precise hand assembly tasks using various tools and equipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, quality-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced production environment. Job Responsibilities Assemble and solder cable harnesses according to IPC 610/620 standards and detailed work instructions
Strip, crimp, and terminate copper and coaxial wires using hand tools and precision equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
Identify and communicate any issues or discrepancies in parts, processes, or documentation
Job Requirements High mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity required
Prior experience with cable assembly, soldering, or harness manufacturing preferred
Familiarity with IPC 610 and/or IPC 620 standards a strong plus
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Must be able to read and follow written and visual work instructions and engineering prints
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Education High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical or vocational training in electronics, electrical assembly, or a related field preferred

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (Day Shift)
