Job Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Staff Dentist to join the collaborative team of Sonoma County Indian Health Project, Inc.
Under the direction of the Dental Director, the role provides comprehensive dental care and helps patients achieve healthier, happier smiles.
Qualifications
Hold and maintain a current, valid & unrestricted DDS or DMD license in the United States.
Hold and maintain a current DEA license.
Hold and maintain a current CPA.
Commitment to quality patient care, excellent customer service, and patient education in dental health.
Competent in all areas of restorative dentistry, including crown, bridge, anterior/posterior composites, porcelain laminate veneers, and implant restorations.
Effective communication with people at all levels and varying cultural backgrounds.
Prior work in IHS, Tribal/Urban clinics, or VA a plus.
Experience with an Electronic Dental Record (EDR) a plus.
Must pass pre‑employment drug screening, physical, and background check.
Special Qualifications Must be sensitive to the needs of the Native American Community, including culture, traditions, behavioral patterns, and background.
Benefits and Compensation Salary commensurate with experience. Incentives include a sign‑on bonus of up to $40,000, including retention funds. Loan repayment programs and moving allowance.
