The annual salary range for this position is $255,000.00-$435,000.00.
What You Will Do? The Executive Director of Human Capital Operations will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Capital Operations, to include benefits, compensation and the strategic and operational delivery of HR systems and services. This role involves strategic leadership, process improvement, compliance, the alignment of technology, service delivery, and compliance to support a global workforce and evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the management of benefits programs and compensation structures.
Responsible for the budget for benefits and compensation to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining unique and competitive offerings.
Ongoing development, implementation and administration of the enterprise compensation and benefits programs to ensure that they are aligned with the organization’s needs while being competitive and compliant.
Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Workday modules (e.g., Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation).
Lead Tier 3 and Tier 4 troubleshooting and resolution efforts.
Prioritize Workday requests to ensure alignment with the strategic priorities of the organization.
Drive end-user adoption, AI and training initiatives to maximize Workday utilization including mobile and Workday Everywhere.
Lead a global HR Shared Services team across the US, Canada, EME, and India.
Oversee case management through ServiceNow, ensuring timely and compliant resolution of HR inquiries.
Manage operational processes including onboarding, I-9s, contingent workforce, immigration, and employment verifications.
Partner with IT and Legal to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the HR technology and operations roadmap.
Lead vendor evaluations and contract negotiations for HR systems and tools (e.g., Workday, Kantata, DocuSign).
Support budgeting and chargeback processes for HR technology platforms.
Lead the HR Data Analytics team to provide insights and analytics that support workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
Oversee the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure successful delivery of HR projects and initiatives.
Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve HR processes and outcomes.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all HR systems and reports.
Lead, mentor and develop the HR Operations team.
Foster a culture of exceptional performance, continuous improvement and career progression.
What You Will Need?
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field.
15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 10+ years managing HRIS/Workday and Shared Services.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, and service delivery models.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
What Will Be Nice to Have?
Master’s Degree
Workday certification(s) or equivalent experience.
Experience with ServiceNow and vendor management.
