Pediatric Neurosurgeon

Inova Children's Multispecialty Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Neurosurgeon to join our team in Fairfax, VA. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.
As part of the Inova Children's Neuroscience Program, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional neurological care from birth through adolescence. Our program combines the advanced resources of Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital with the specialized expertise of Inova Neurosciences, offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services—from diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation and long-term follow-up.
Our integrated team includes pediatric neurologists, pediatric neurosurgeons, pediatric critical care physicians, pediatric hematologist/oncologists, pediatric neuropsychologists, and pediatric psychiatrists, all committed to delivering patient-centered, collaborative care. Families also benefit from extensive ancillary support through Child Life specialists, social workers, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, nutritionists, and support groups. The Ronald McDonald House on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus allows loved ones to stay close to their child at little or no cost.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
Training:
Successful completion of physician pediatric residency program.
Certification:
Board eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Neurosurgery. Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start.
Licensure:
Unrestricted VA Medical License or ability to obtain.
Payor Credentialing:
Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and ability to enroll as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payer.
Medical Staff Credentialing:
Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services.
