Position Title
Lease Security Specialist
Location Hicksville, NY 11801
Job Summary Pay range: $19.60-30.59/hr The Lease Security Specialist processes lease security transactions with accuracy and efficiency. This role supports the Lease Security team by handling account maintenance, transaction processing, and documentation updates while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Specialist assists in resolving inquiries and contributes to a collaborative team environment.
Job Responsibilities
Process lease security transactions including deposits, withdrawals, account openings, and tenant/building updates.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Monitor workflow queues and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Respond to inquiries from clients and internal departments such as PCGs, Lending and Client Services.
Support reporting and reconciliation efforts.
Escalate complex issues to the Team Lead or Manager as needed.
Additional Accountabilities
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Promote a positive and collaborative team environment.
Job Requirements Required Qualifications
Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent
Minimum experience required: 1+ Years of experience in banking
Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), familiarity with banking systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow procedures and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with lease security or landlord/tenant account processes
Experience with banking systems and workflow tools
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
