Compensation Hourly rate: $18.71 – $26.19 (salary range dependent on experience and equity).

Location & Hours Primary location: Bronzeville (free employee parking).
Mon – Thu 6:45am – 7pm; Fri 6:45am – 5pm (flexible work hours).
Job Summary This float position requires reliable transportation and is responsible for patient scheduling, clerical work, and front‑office functions.
Responsibilities
Serve as a receptionist, greeting staff and customers courteously.
Answer department telephone calls politely and communicate messages clearly.
Maintain patient appointments, cancellations, rescheduling, and wait‑list management.
Use EPIC to manage the Department Appointment Report (DAR) and schedule visits.
Coordinate clerical work with senior/clinical coordinator or manager as appropriate.
Collect and update patient demographic, insurance, and billing information.
Monitor and manage the Rehabilitation Work Queue(s) for registration and orders.
Assist with clinic set‑up/cleanup, including machine cleaning and log maintenance.
Work with coding, patient accounts, and financial clearance to ensure accurate billing.
Qualifications
Two years’ experience in front office with computer experience.
High school graduate.
Successful completion of EPIC training for scheduling and registration.
