Job Overview This position offers a leadership path for an experienced real estate attorney who thrives on managing complex transactions and cultivating strong client relationships. You will work with a diverse base of privately held and middle‑market businesses, investors, and developers, handling high‑value transactions with autonomy and partner‑level engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and developments.
Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and commercial leases.
Oversee deals from inception through closing, maintaining extensive client contact and minimal supervision.
Advise clients on risk management, structuring, and compliance strategies.
Work closely with firm leadership to expand client relationships and mentor junior attorneys as needed.

Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Licensed in North Carolina (South Carolina Bar preferred but not required).
10+ years of experience in commercial real estate law with a strong track record of handling complex transactions.
Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple deals independently and deliver under tight timelines.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen.
