Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting for manufacturing sites. Approve and oversee balance‑sheet reconciliation. Review and approve manufacturing capital investment projects. Ensure manufacturing site compliance with internal controls and corporate policies. Complete internal and external audit requirements for manufacturing sites. Support continuous operational and financial results improvement with a focus on cost savings and operational processes to drive manufacturing site EBITDA improvement. Integrate new manufacturing operations into reporting, budgeting, forecasting and controls/compliance. Manage and develop direct reports and support development of indirect reports. Lead or support manufacturing‑related systems and reporting improvement projects. Financial Reporting and Controls/Compliance
Overall responsibility for accurate and timely manufacturing site operations financial results and reporting in accordance with IFRS and GAAP and compliance with company processes, procedures and statutory regulations. Provide financial guidance and support to Plant Management with proactive communication of accounting/reporting issues and recommendations. Provide guidance and cost‑analysis input to Plant Management for key business alternatives and decisions that enable effective and efficient operations and delivery of cost savings. Prepare/review financial support for capital‑expenditure requests ensuring compliance with Refresco policy and robust accurate projections of costs and savings. Ensure compliance with key control procedures and corporate policies at the plant management level to safeguard plant financial information and assets. Support and manage required weekly/monthly targeted manufacturing reporting (manufacturing cost targets, EBITDA forecasts, customer and company waste and scrap, inventory working‑capital impacts). Maintain open communication with peers to foster a consistent approach in the financial management of local operating units. Provide support for external and internal audits at the operating facilities and complete other ad‑hoc reporting requests. Budgeting/Forecasting
Manage the weekly/monthly/quarterly flash forecast process with Plant Management to deliver accurate forecasted results, identifying risks and opportunities. Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan for manufacturing sites. Business Analysis Support
Collaborate with Plant Management to identify and recommend process improvements that deliver financial benefits or mitigate risks, and analyze financial data to facilitate decision making at the plant level. Staff Management / People Development
Manage up to 2‑4 direct reports with responsibility for up to 15‑18 North America Operations Finance personnel located in the US and Canada, focusing on operations reporting, forecasting, safeguarding operations assets and supporting capital investment activities. Ensure the personal development of team members to achieve success in current roles and position potential future growth opportunities. Continuously manage team priorities to ensure prioritization and delivery of objectives while supporting changing needs of the business. Leadership Responsibilities
Lead and direct the work of other employees, with responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management and termination. Supervise often through a team of subordinate managers. Coach and develop staff to enhance functional and leadership skills and expertise. Accountable for planning and evaluating performance, staff training and development, recruitment and may contribute to pay recommendations, subject to policies. Required Skills and Competencies
Proven strong team leadership and people development experience; experience managing remote teams. Excellent time‑management skills; experienced in multi‑tasking with changing priorities under tight deadlines. Strong financial analysis skill: identify information needed to prepare and validate analyses, interpret and draw conclusions, extract meaning from data by recognizing trends and patterns. Strong team player with high accountability and ability to work across multiple functions. Proven strategic problem‑solving skill with ability to analyze and solve problems on a timely basis. Results oriented with sense of urgency and ability to work under deadline pressures. Experience adapting to change with proven ability to operate and consistently deliver in a changing environment. Self‑starter with strong initiative and accountability; ability to work independently. Strive for high performance and use technical skills effectively with emphasis to detail and accuracy. IT literate (Microsoft Office) and ability to learn other software applications. Knowledge of financial accounting systems and ERP experience (SAP preferred), controls and compliance procedures and industry practices. Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills with ability to explain results, document processes and convey ideas. Strong business ethics commitment. US GAAP/IFRS knowledge. Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required. Seven to twelve (7‑12) years of related work experience in plant manufacturing operations or industrial environment. Food and beverage related manufacturing experience is a plus. Five to eight (5‑8) years of staff management and leadership; remote team leadership preferred. CMA/CPA or equivalent designation. Experience working in an SAP environment. Working Conditions
Physical – continuously standing or walking. Regular requirements to lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight. Visual/sensory – requires moderate attention with one or two senses at a time. Work environment – repetitive. Mental stress – pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands. Travel Requirements
Based in Tampa corporate office with minimal travel requirements. Remote may be an option for internal. Physical Requirements
