Overview
Proclinical is seeking a Manager, Government Pricing to support the implementation of a new government pricing and Medicaid rebate system.
Primary Responsibilities The successful candidate will play an essential role in ensuring a seamless transition from current processes to future state operations, including system setup, data reconciliation, process optimization, and compliance with government regulations. You will collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and senior leadership to design and implement the new system while maintaining operational continuity.
Skills & Requirements
Expertise in government pricing system implementation, including data migration, reconciliation, and process design.
Strong understanding of government pricing rules, regulations, and calculations (e.g., AMP, ASP, BP, NFAMP, FCP, 340B).
Analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends or issues.
Effective communication and project management skills to work across teams and with external partners.
Familiarity with Fair Market Value (FMV) methodology and bona fide service fees is a plus.
Experience with tools such as Model N, ICyte, or similar government pricing systems is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of the new government pricing and Medicaid rebate system, ensuring alignment with project deliverables.
Assess current government pricing methodologies (e.g., AMP, ASP, BP, NFAMP, FCP, 340B) and business processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with vendors to harmonize processes with the new system, including data setup, reconciliation, and reporting workflows.
Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to document new processes, controls, and methodologies.
Perform data reconciliation between legacy systems and the new system to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Review data integrity documentation and address issues such as 340B transaction reviews, manual GP calculations, and bundled discount management.
Ensure compliance with CMS, Department of Veterans Affairs, and other regulatory requirements during the system transition.
Assist in developing and customizing reporting capabilities, including variance analysis and analytics enhancements.
Monitor and implement state price transparency regulations as part of the system setup.
Serve as a liaison between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Communicate progress, risks, and actionable recommendations to senior management and project sponsors.
Evaluate Phase 1 processes and controls, providing recommendations for Phase 2 enhancements.
Support automation of manual processes and develop Excel-based reconciliation models for Medicare Part B-D inflation rebates and other calculations.
Provide training and documentation to internal teams for a smooth system transition.
