Responsibilities:
Oversee all nursing department operations to ensure high‑quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff while promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to achieve clinical and operational goals.
Ensure accurate documentation, care planning, and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Manage staffing levels, training, and performance evaluations.
Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure readiness for surveys and audits.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (required).
Minimum 1 year of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long‑term care setting.
Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, MDS process, and quality assurance.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
A passion for delivering resident‑centered, compassionate care.
