Role Overview
The Studio Manager oversees daily operations of the ear‑piercing studio, ensuring top‑level customer service, a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, and driving sales while managing a strong team.
Responsibilities
Customer Experience:
Create a warm, celebratory atmosphere, greet and engage customers, handle inquiries and complaints, maintain a clean and safe studio, and engage with the local community to drive brand awareness.
Leadership + Team Management:
Lead, coach, and develop the studio team, meet studio targets and performance metrics, foster a positive team culture, schedule staff, manage payroll accuracy, and recruit for open positions.
Operations + Sales:
Oversee inventory management, meet or exceed sales targets, drive profitability, ensure visual merchandising standards, comply with health and safety regulations, and maintain a tidy studio floor.
Training + Development:
Train and onboard new staff, provide ongoing development opportunities, and coach the team to achieve targets.
Administrative Duties:
Prepare and submit studio performance reports, manage budgets and expenses, coordinate corporate marketing initiatives, and ensure studio financial targets are met.
Qualifications
3–5 years in retail management, preferably in a service‑oriented environment; jewelry experience is a plus.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
Customer‑obsessed with a passion for delivering memorable experiences on the selling floor.
Proven track record of driving sales and optimizing profitability.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Comfortable using technology, software systems, and POS.
Deep understanding of inventory management and visual merchandising.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to piercing is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Sheets, and Documents).
Analytical skills, including basic retail math.
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for a full 8‑hour shift.
