$120,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr
LEGAL OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a broad range of matters including business transactions, governance, finance, and regulatory compliance. The ideal attorney will provide proactive counsel to clients on complex legal and business issues while maintaining strong relationships with leadership teams and stakeholders. Attorneys in this role collaborate closely with partners and colleagues across practice areas, gaining exposure to both transactional and litigation matters that make a lasting impact.
What You Will Do
Advise clients on governance, corporate transactions, financial agreements, and regulatory compliance.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and other documents for state, federal, and tribal legal matters.
Support clients in developing and implementing tribal codes, regulations, and governance structures.
Participate in hearings, client meetings, and business development initiatives as needed.
Collaborate with firm leadership and cross-office teams to provide exceptional, values-driven client service.
What You Bring
Active California Bar membership in good standing.
Strong background in transactional law, including contract review, due diligence, and business or finance transactions.
Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters, build client trust, and work effectively in a hybrid and cross-office environment.
Commitment to advancing clients’ missions through thoughtful, solution-oriented counsel.
Experience in federal Indian law or governance is a plus, but not required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The role offers a competitive annual salary in the range of
$125,000 to $150,000 , depending on experience. The firm provides a
