Base pay range $155,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr
Compensation:
$155,000 to $165,000 annually + Fully Covered Health Care
We’re assisting our client in hiring a
Senior BI Developer
to play a key role in
modernizing their enterprise data platform . This is a hands‑on position for someone who thrives in
end‑to‑end data warehousing —from pulling raw data and building data pipelines to constructing and optimizing data models in a
modern Azure cloud environment .
This individual will help lead the organization’s transition from traditional tools (SQL Server, SSIS, Tableau) to a
cloud‑first BI platform
built on
Azure SQL Managed Instance
and
Microsoft Fabric . The right candidate will have a deep technical background, strong business acumen, and the ability to communicate insights and strategy across both technical and non‑technical teams.
What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain
data models ,
ETL pipelines , and
data warehouse architecture
aligned with Kimball methodology. Build and manage
end‑to‑end data solutions
from ingestion through visualization across multiple data sources, including SQL Server, Azure SQL, DataVerse, SharePoint, APIs, and unstructured data. Develop
Azure‑based BI and reporting solutions , leveraging Azure SQL Managed Instance, Microsoft Fabric, and related services. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions. Ensure
data quality, integrity, and performance
across the data lifecycle. Provide architectural guidance and help shape the
Azure Cloud (ACE – Advanced Cloud Engineering)
strategy for enterprise data modernization. Partner with business teams to communicate insights and ensure alignment between technical design and organizational goals.
What We’re Looking For Required 8+ years of experience in
BI development
and
data warehousing . Proven
end‑to‑end experience
building and maintaining
enterprise data warehouses . Expertise in
Kimball data modeling methodology
and
ETL design . Proficiency with
Azure SQL Database ,
Azure SQL Managed Instance ,
Microsoft Fabric , and
Azure DevOps . Solid understanding of
Microsoft’s Advanced Cloud Engineering (ACE)
principles and modern Azure data architecture. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to speak to the data being modeled and presented. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams.
Preferred Experience with
Azure Data Factory ,
Azure Synapse ,
Databricks , and/or
SSIS . Familiarity with
Azure Data Lake ,
API integrations , and
CI/CD pipelines . Experience working with
manufacturing or operational data . Strong skills in
DAX ,
Power Query (M) , and
T‑SQL .
