High‑impact leadership role establishing the pricing function from ground up Exposure to a cross‑functional team spanning Operations, Sales, and Intermodal Pricing Direct partnership with VP of Metal Operations, senior leadership visibility Opportunity to grow into future team leadership once the foundation is proven Onsite presence in Lombard, IL with flexibility for one remote day per week after established Competitive salary range of $110,000 to $140,000 commensurate with experience and fit How You Will Make An Impact

Design and implement a centralized pricing strategy and governance framework for the Metals Intermodal division Develop clear processes, documentation, analytics, and tools to support consistent, data‑driven pricing decisions Collaborate with cross‑functional partners in Operations, Sales, and Pricing to drive alignment and execution Translate fragmented data into actionable insights that support competitiveness and profitability Serve as the subject‑matter expert for flatbed and intermodal pricing, focusing on post‑customs dray/transload for metals freight Establish the foundation for a pricing team and transition into a leadership role as the function grows Required Experience

Proven expertise in flatbed and/or intermodal pricing within logistics or transportation Track record of success building or restructuring pricing functions (vs. only working within mature pricing orgs) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to create clarity from fragmented or incomplete data Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional work with senior leadership, Sales, and Operations Preferred Experience

Knowledge of metals‑specific freight (coils, bar, plate) Experience pricing across U.S., Mexico, and Canada markets Background in intermodal dray and transload operations for post‑customs freight Benefits
