Position Summary The Automation Chemistry & Immunoassay Sales Executive is a field-based commercial leader responsible for driving new business growth and expanding Siemens Healthineers’ footprint in laboratory diagnostics. With a focus on Chemistry, Immunoassay, and Automation solutions, this role prioritizes identifying, developing, and converting new customer opportunities across a defined geographic territory.

Responsibilities

Proactively identify and pursue new customer opportunities within the assigned territory.

Lead and coordinate strategic sales campaigns, leveraging internal resources and cross‑functional teams to deliver customized solutions.

Conduct workflow analyses and “day in the lab” assessments to uncover operational inefficiencies and present tailored solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers, influencers, and stakeholders across healthcare systems, laboratories, and integrated delivery networks.

Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer feedback to inform account strategies.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and forecasting through CRM tools.

Partner closely with Account Executives, Sales Specialists, and Healthcare System Executives to ensure alignment of messaging and execution.

Uphold Siemens Healthineers’ standards for ethical sales practices, regulatory compliance, and customer transparency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related discipline. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in complex sales environments (e.g., capital equipment, medical devices, diagnostics).

Proven success in new business acquisition and solution selling.

Strong understanding of laboratory diagnostics, including Chemistry and Immunoassay workflows.

Experience with strategic sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman).

Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a field‑based role with regional travel.

Compensation & Benefits Base pay range: $110,416 – $165,624. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, paid parking/public transportation, and paid time off.
