Role Snapshot As an HR Business Partner, you’ll work side by side with leaders to connect people strategies to business goals. Salary Range $80,000 ~ $100,000
Work Location Hybrid in Wisconsin. Employees within 45 miles of Madison expected to work hybrid 2 days a week. Remote candidates in WI, IL, MN, IA prioritized. If not local, frequent monthly travel to headquarters required.
Qualifications Building strong relationships with leaders to understand goals, challenges, and opportunities. Ability to successfully influence without authority. Proven experience translating business objectives into people strategies (talent strategy, engagement, retention, capability building, etc.). Leading leaders and teams through change with clarity, consistency, and empathy. Partnering with hiring managers to create job descriptions that clearly define role success. Advising managers on performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation. Coaching on leadership behaviors and effectiveness, team performance, and culture.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent. 5+ years progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner or Generalist in multi-state environment. Working knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR policies. Solid knowledge of workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, and employee relations best practices. Ability to build relationships and influence managers through sound judgment and HR expertise.
Preferred Qualifications 7+ years experience working in Human Resources in large enterprise environment. Certification: PHR, SHRM-CP, or CPT. Exposure to Unions/Bargaining Units.
