We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with a strong background in civil or landscape construction to join our dynamic team. Approximately 80% of your time will be spent in our state‑of‑the‑art office and 20% in the field. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects meet specifications, timelines, and budgets, working closely with our project management and site supervision teams.
Job Title Project Engineer
Responsibilities
Procure materials and manage submittals.
Oversee RFI management and assist the team with planning and scheduling.
Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
Work with the Project Manager on budget reviews and ensure costs are coded correctly to field activities.
Assist with monthly billing and track extra work.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of site supervision or project management experience in civil or landscape construction.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, contract requirements, and schematics.
Proficiency in using Procore or HCSS for organizing construction documents.
Experience as a project engineer managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or commensurate experience.
2 years of prior experience with a heavy/civil self‑perform construction company preferred.
Work Environment Work in a brand‑new office space with office hours from 8am to 5pm. Join a team of over 20 professionals in a collaborative and innovative environment.
