Project Engineer
We are seeking a talented Project Engineer to provide essential engineering support for both ongoing and new project operations. As a Project Engineer, you will manage capital and site projects, focusing on budgeting, timelines, contractors, and documentation. You will design methods to enhance project efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality and safety. This permanent position reports to the EHS & Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities
Deliver successful capital projects as directed by the Engineering Manager.
Oversee site projects, including budgeting, timelines, contractors, and documentation.
Enhance efficiency and reduce costs through innovative design methods.
Minimize downtime and maintenance costs by troubleshooting and resolving project issues.
Ensure equipment reliability by monitoring and addressing potential errors.
Implement effective engineering changes through well-designed plant trials.
Maintain regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations in project designs.
Facilitate smooth project implementation by collaborating with management and employees.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; requires a degree or a minimum of five years of related experience and/or training.
Strong analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Detail‑oriented and precise, managing multiple details and deadlines with accuracy.
Effective communicator, able to work and communicate across the value chain with diverse team members.
Independent and adaptable, working independently in a fast‑paced and nimble team environment.
Public speaking skills, able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Leadership by example, providing leadership through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.
Clean driving record, valid driver's license with no moving violations.
Location Clovis, NM
