Apollo Global Management, Inc.
is seeking an experienced professional to serve as Associate Director for our Private Equity Secondaries team. The role reports directly to the Fund Controller and supports the recently launched Evergreen Fund platform within Apollo’s Sponsor and Secondary Solutions business (“S3”).
Position Overview Apollo is a high‑growth, global alternative asset manager that focuses on three investing strategies: yield, hybrid, and equity.
We serve private equity, investment‑grade, and other alternative asset classes worldwide.
The Associate Director will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of core accounting responsibilities, driving process improvements, and reporting for a 1940 Act Fund, Luxembourg SICAV, and a tax‑advantaged insurance‑dedicated fund.
Primary Responsibilities
Review NAV packages prepared by the fund administrators with all relevant supporting documentation.
Analyze profit and loss and fund performance.
Review calculation of management fees & incentive fees for various fund structures.
Assist with corporate and regulatory reporting requirements for a 1940 Act Fund, including N‑CSR, N‑PORT, and N‑CEN SEC filings.
Review external‑facing marketing materials.
Assist with presentation of quarterly board reporting.
Assist with annual audits and provide information for tax preparation.
Ensure portfolio valuation is accurate and in accordance with the fund’s valuation policy; verify portfolio pricing to third‑party sources.
Analyze and prepare expense allocations and budgets between multiple fund entities.
Review wire transfer requests related to deal fundings and expense payments.
Assist with managing short‑ and long‑term fund liquidity.
Coordinate closely with internal counterparts in Corporate, Operations, Marketing, Tax, Legal, and front‑office functions.
Review junior team members’ deliverables.
Execute ad‑hoc special projects from senior leaders.
Qualifications & Experience
CPA preferred. 6+ years of public/private accounting experience preferred.
Closed‑end registered investment company experience preferred but not required.
Strong U.S. GAAP technical accounting expertise.
Critical thinker with strong quantitative and analytical skills; clear oral and written communication.
Team player able to prioritize competing demands and escape escalation issues.
Proactive self‑starter with strong attention to detail and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Passion for technology and automation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with AI, Alteryx, Anaplan or Power BI is a plus.

Pay Range $140,000 – $205,000
