Prosperity Partners is a Chicago-headquartered public accounting firm offering best-in-class tax, accounting, and personal finance services to dynamic businesses, high net‑worth individuals, and family offices. With offices throughout the United States, we are seeking an energetic tax professional to support our growing practice.
Base Pay Range Annual Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
Responsibilities The candidate will report to the firm’s Managers and Partners and will work directly with clients to provide tax preparation and consulting services. Responsibilities include preparing workpapers, researching complex tax issues, communicating effectively with clients, and meeting deadlines in a deadline‑driven environment.
Qualifications
Accounting degree from an accredited four‑year university
CPA designation or active progress toward the exam
3+ years of public accounting experience in a tax‑focused position
Proven understanding of complex accounting entries
Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with ability to explain complex matters to clients or government agencies
Ability to meet deadlines and multi‑task
Enthusiasm for technical topics and interest in learning opportunities via research, CPE, and peer discussion
Self‑motivated to seek new projects, recognize strengths and weaknesses, and appreciate peer feedback
Availability to work in the office at least 3 days per week
