RH is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Merchandising Analyst to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our merchandising operations through data analysis, product lifecycle management, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is organized, curious, and proactive, with a passion for product and a strong grasp of retail business dynamics. You will work closely with Planning, Product Development, Merchandising, and Operations to drive execution and provide insights that support product strategy, pricing, and performance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as a conduit of information, materials and samples to all x-functional teams.

Analyze sales, margin, inventory, and assortment performance to identify trends, opportunities, and risks

Manage SKU item setup and product lifecycle maintenance across all categories and systems

Ensure data accuracy and product integrity in ERP and PIM platforms

Manage all price changes in partnership with Planning and Merch Ops

Research, respond and resolve customer requests and service feedback.

Participate in proofing process of catalog and web - including naming, copy, dimensions, images, etc.

Offer input to product assortment strategy.

Regularly proof website for SKU and copy accuracy; submit and follow up on issue fixes

Gain an understanding of forecasting and participate in financial review meetings.

Stay informed on customer trends and what is selling.

Gain a complete understanding of our competition and their pricing strategies.

Attends & Participates in weekly PD meetings.

Facilitates photo sample requests - tracks, receives, logs and totes photo samples

Proofs website for copy and sku information integrity and accuracy; submits requests for issue fixes.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of experience in merchandising, planning, or retail analytics preferred

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Solid understanding of product merchandising, lifecycle, and pricing strategy

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Highly organized with strong multi-tasking abilities

Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced, feedback-oriented environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)

Familiarity with ERP and PIM systems preferred

Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus

Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word & Excel)

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2-3 years of relevant work experience
