Work hours:
Full-Time 40 hours/week – 2nd Shift

Variety of testing includes Microbiology (routine, AFB and fungal cultures), Molecular and Serology
Up-to-date instrumentation and automation
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Applied Technology, Clinical Lab Science or related Biological Science preferred
Internship in an approved Medical Technology training program required
Two years’ experience in Microbiology preferred
Licensed MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) or equivalent 90‑day license required; additional licenses (AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS‑CA, FL, NY, Philippine Board of Technical Technology, M(ASCP) – Microbiology, BB(ASCP) – Blood Banking) may be accepted on a case‑by‑case basis
Responsibilities
Evaluate and solve problems related to collection and/or processing of specimens, maintaining specimen integrity throughout the testing process
Facilitate workflow process and troubleshoot outstanding tests in a timely manner
Manage computer downtime procedures when systems are unavailable
Collaborate with hospital and laboratory coworkers to provide timely patient care
