Job Summary
Assist Mass General Brigham in conducting clinical research studies for neurodegenerative disorders. Work closely with investigators to recruit, screen, and consent patients, perform clinical tests, collect and organize data, manage regulatory binders, and support basic science wetlab procedures.
Essential Functions
Recruit, screen, and consent study participants; maintain contact and document visits.
Perform clinical assessments such as phlebotomy, EKG, smell tests, and Montreal Cognitive Assessment.
Collect and organize patient data; validate and update study databases.
Assist with regulatory binders, QA/QC procedures, and IRB documentation.
Support basic science activities: biobanking patient samples, culture of skin biopsy-derived fibroblasts, and image processing collaboration.
Prepare data for analysis and contribute to written publications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a biological science or pre‑medical coursework.
0–1 year of clinical or research experience preferred; at least one year in a research setting desired.
Prior experience in a clinic or clinical research highly desired.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Familiarity with data management programs and basic website management skills; coding skills highly desirable.
