Operating out of Indianapolis, IN, Lids offers officially licensed headwear and apparel from collegiate and professional sports teams, plus top brands like Nike, New Era, Adidas, and Mitchell & Ness. General Position Summary
Produce sales gains by providing customer service.
Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.
Provide consistent appraisal of associate sales performance; give feedback on strengths and opportunities.
Adhere to visual guidelines: proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with Dress Code Policy.
Responsible Duties
Generate Sales
– Produce sales gains, meet objectives, appraise performance, maintain visual standards.
Control Expenses
– Protect assets, schedule coverage, manage inventory, document records, open/close store per procedures.
Supervise Associates
– Participate in training programs, recruit and train personnel, enforce policies, communicate, perform subordinates as needed.
Knowledge & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent plus one year related experience.
Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
Strong interpersonal skills; clear verbal communication.
Computer competency and software usage.
Lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladder; work overhead.
Standing required up to 100% of work time.
Work unsupervised.
Preferred Compensation Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary by skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Managers PT are available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
