Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward‑thinking Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of our enterprise data architecture within a dynamic Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment. This role is pivotal in shaping our data strategy, with a strong focus on leveraging Microsoft Fabric to unify data engineering, data science, and business intelligence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement scalable data solutions
using Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Dataflows Gen2 and Synapse experiences.
Design and maintain
enterprise data models
that support manufacturing operations, supply chain analytics, and customer reporting.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including IT, engineering, finance, and operations to understand data needs and translate them into robust solutions.
Define and enforce
data governance, security, and quality standard
across the data lifecycle.
Lead the modernization of legacy data platforms and integration of cloud‑native technologies.
Support the development and deployment of Power BI reports and semantic models optimized for performance and usability.
Mentor data engineers and analysts on best practices in data architecture and Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments to enhance data capabilities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
7+ years of experience in data architecture, preferably in manufacturing or industrial domains.
Deep expertise in
Microsoft Fabric , including experience with OneLake, Lakehouses and Power BI integration.
Strong understanding of
data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines , and real‑time data processing.
Proficiency in
SQL, DAX, Python , and/or Spark.
Experience with
Azure Data Services , including Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Purview.
Familiarity with
MES, ERP, and PLM Systems
and their date structures.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
IoT data ingestion and analytics
in a manufacturing context.
Knowledge of
data mesh or data fabric architectures .
Certifications in Microsoft Azure or Power BI.
Experience with
AI/ML integration
into data platforms.
