IU Health Physicians - Hospitalist- Nights (University Hospital) IU Health, the largest healthcare system in Indiana, is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Hospitalist to join our Internal Medicine Hospitalist Service Line in downtown Indianapolis. This full‑time night position provides care to a complex inpatient population in an academic medical center.

Position Details

Full‑time, night shifts (3–12 hour) – 4 p‑4 a, 6 p‑6 a or 7 p‑7 a.

100 % inpatient; may also cover additional hours at Methodist, IU North and IU West.

1–2 years of clinical experience; preferred inpatient experience as NP/PA.

Must be ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA; critical‑care nursing experience preferred for NP.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complex inpatient population.

Admission and new consultation evaluations.

Cross‑cover/acute needs of existing inpatients.

Qualifications

ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA.

1–2 years of experience; inpatient experience preferred.

Critical‑care nursing experience preferred for NP.
