Gilbane offers extensive training through Gilbane University, opportunities to coordinate safe, high‑quality work, and daily learning with Sr. General Superintendents and Project Executives. You will promote industry‑recognized safety standards, coordinate trade contractors, and lead daily project meetings. Responsibilities

Direct day‑to‑day coordination of trade contractors and sub‑contractors to meet approved schedules. Manage the project budget for general conditions and site services. Develop, document, and communicate field changes. Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems. Verify subcontractors obtain all necessary construction permits. Act as primary safety representative and enforce safety compliance. Develop and drive safety culture across all personnel. Plan and manage jobsite logistics, shutdowns, and tie‑ins. Resolve jurisdictional disputes with support from senior leadership. Lead contractor meetings and maintain daily reports. Create, manage, and update the project schedule, including contingency plans. Communicate schedule status and changes to the project team. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management. 10–15 years of experience on $30–$100M commercial/industrial construction projects in a lead superintendent role. OSHA 30‑hour certified. STS‑C Certification. First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent problem‑solving and adaptability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software. Construction‑document literacy and comprehensive knowledge of all work divisions. Familiarity with Pull Planning Process. Ability to enforce safety plans and create a safety‑first culture.
