Senior Finance Manager
to support our 1st party global
Digital Direct Sales (DDS)
team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the cost of goods sold (COGS) and operating expenses (OPEX) across the Digital Direct Sales organization, including our physical Microsoft Experience Centers. This role ensures financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment by partnering with corporate accounting, HR, and business stakeholders. The role plays a critical role in ensuring cost discipline and enabling executive decision-making through rigorous forecasting, budget stewardship, and operational governance.

Responsibilities Lead end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for COGS, OPEX, and CAPEX ensuring alignment with corporate targets and processes.
Serve as a trusted finance advisor to business leaders, engineering, marketing, central finance, and product teams, providing actionable financial insights to support executive decision-making and investment trade-offs.
Partner with Corporate Accounting to ensure proper classification of expenses and resolve systemic issues impacting financial accuracy. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external audit requirements.
Coordinate workstreams across multiple stakeholders, landing structured processes and feedback loops. Drive process simplification and standardization across financial reporting, planning tools, and operational workflows.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and data support, while spearheading ongoing efforts to automate insights in collaboration with key finance and business partners, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs and growth opportunities.

Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualification Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
2+ years experience of financial planning cycles and business review processes.
2+ years experience with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems.
Additional or Preferred Qualification Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post‑graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post‑graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi‑product/multi‑segment finance roles.
1+ year(s) work experience in matrix‑based organization.
1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
5+ years of experience in planning, or enterprise FP&A roles.
5+ years of proven ability to manage complex timelines and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
Financial Analysis IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 – $188,400 per year. For specific locations in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the range is USD $123,500 – $206,400 per year.
