Sr. Software Engineer II – Sensor (Remote)

The Falcon Host sensor is a lightweight agent on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, providing on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon Host cloud.
What You’ll Do
Lead and provide partnership on the sensor development team involved in architecture, strategy, and building next‑generation Anti‑Virus and Enhanced Detection and Response Security Software.
Develop new product concepts and own features from design to delivery, including participation in product demo at the end of the sprint.
Support development teams in designing and building software with cross‑platform deliverables (Windows, Mac, Linux).
Collaborate with multi‑functional teams in various locations.
What You’ll Need
In‑depth knowledge with C/C++ and Windows OS Kernel and Driver Development.
Strong low‑level OS internals in Windows.
Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions, and system performance.
Experience shipping major features and releases.
Lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team.
Bonus Points
Strong background in scalable, lightweight, and highly performing systems.
OS system expertise for core concepts and subsystems.
Familiarity with Agile process.
Knowledge in Security.
