The Role As the Director of Strategic Account Management (Internally known as Director Retail Partnerships), you will lead the team responsible for growing and deepening Auror’s strategic partnerships with the largest retailers in North America. This is a critical leadership role at the intersection of enterprise relationship management, value delivery, and enterprise sales. You’ll build, coach, and inspire a high‑performing team of Partnership Managers, equipping them to manage high‑value partnerships, strengthen customer engagement, and drive revenue expansion. You’ll work cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure we’re delivering meaningful outcomes for our partners, aligned with Auror’s long‑term strategy and purpose.

Your Responsibilities

Accelerate revenue growth and retention: lead the team to execute high‑impact account strategies that drive account expansion, strengthen customer commitment, and consistently uncover and convert new commercial opportunities.

Build and lead a world‑class team: recruit, develop, and manage a team of strategic account managers, focusing on performance, career development, and inclusive leadership.

Ensure execution rigor and process discipline: reinforce adherence to core sales processes, operating rhythms, and tools (e.g., Salesforce) to drive consistent performance, accurate reporting, and scalable growth.

Own and grow executive relationships: build trusted senior relationships across key accounts, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities, measurable outcomes, and long‑term partnership success.

Reports to Ruby Arden, VP Customer

Requirements

Experienced enterprise leader: 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales or strategic account management in a complex, customer‑facing environment, with a people‑leadership role (ideally in B2B tech, SaaS, or a high‑impact technology space).

Enterprise commercial acumen: personally owned, grew, and closed large enterprise accounts, building C‑level trust, navigating complex organizations, and driving revenue expansion over time.

Team‑first operator: experienced people leader who thrives on coaching others to excel, having led a team of at least four people and hiring and growing top talent with empathy and high standards.

Mission‑driven and adaptable: energized by purpose‑driven work, comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities to move the mission forward.

Location: Denver‑based or open to travel/relocation. Ability to travel up to 40% of time across North America.
