Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 + benefits -- combination of base salary and commission

General Description:

As the Sales Associate at Boka Catering & The Wellsley, you will be providing support for Sales Leadership with daily tasks to assist in making day-to-day operations run smoothly as well as assisting with the sales of specific events.

Sales Support & Growth

Support the sales process for a variety of events, including full-service catering, drop-offs, and hybrid formats—from initial inquiry through execution.

Contribute to team sales goals by assisting with lead management, client communication, and administrative coordination.

Collaborate with culinary, operations, and creative teams to refine proposals and provide thoughtful suggestions to enhance the overall offering.

Client Relationship Support

Serve as a consistent point of contact for clients, offering timely updates, information, and guidance throughout the planning process.

Foster strong, professional relationships that lead to repeat business and positive client experiences.

Event Coordination & Execution

Assist with planning and administrative logistics, including proposal updates, contract preparation, rental coordination, and production timelines.

Work in partnership with the culinary and operations teams to support smooth execution of events.

Provide on-site support, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.

Internal Collaboration & Team Contribution

Provide support to Sales Leadership on active events and client accounts, as needed or requested.

Collaborate with fellow team members to share insights and contribute to best practices that improve overall efficiency and consistency across the department.

Qualifications

Experience in an office setting

Experience in hospitality preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Suite

Organized with attention to detail

Flexible schedule

Physical Requirements:

Lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, & cleaning chemicals

Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven and slick surfaces

Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
