Located in Baltimore’s cultural center near the historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, UMMC Midtown Campus is a 180‑bed community teaching hospital with a focus on helping people manage chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary conditions, and infectious diseases. Job Description
Must comply with all policies and procedures of the organization. Completes regulatory documentation requirements defined for ambulatory services, including risk screening, medication review, allergy review/update, social history, time out, etc. Documents chief complaint. Manages and maintains patient flow. Tests patient’s far acuity, near acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color perception. Measures and records patients current prescription glasses (Lensometry). Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required Minimum of 3 years of related experience CPR certification required. Certified Ophthalmic Technician. Additional Information
