Industrial Kinetics is seeking a Senior Accountant who combines strong transactional accounting skills with analytical thinking and a deep sense of integrity. This role is ideal for a disciplined, detail-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on accounting work and wants to play a critical part in keeping our financial operations accurate, timely, and well-organized.

As Senior Accountant, you will report to and work closely with our Controller to manage the day‑to‑day accounting functions that support our job‑shop manufacturing operation. You'll handle payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job cost accounting within our Epicor ERP system, while also assisting with reporting, reconciliations, and benefits‑related accounting.

Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries and month‑end close adjustments Support job cost accounting for manufacturing projects within Epicor ERP Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payments, collections, and reconciliations Prepare, process, and review bi‑weekly payroll using Paylocity, ensuring accuracy and compliance Process and reconcile employee expense reports and credit card statements Assist the Controller with preparation of financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules Coordinate and reconcile accounting for employee benefits (401k, health, and business insurance) Help maintain and document internal accounting controls and procedural updates Support the Controller in preparation of year‑end accounting, tax packages, and external audits Provide accurate, organized, and timely data entry and report generation Collaborate with HR and Administration on accounting‑related functions Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding payroll and financial information

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3-7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience Experience in a manufacturing or job‑shop environment strongly preferred Proficiency in Epicor ERP or similar accounting systems preferred Experience processing payroll with Paylocity or similar software Strong understanding of job cost accounting and general ledger functions CPA not required but considered a plus Proficient in GAAP and job cost accounting principles Strong computer and data management skills (MS Office, ERP, Paylocity) Familiarity with benefit‑related accounting and payroll reporting Experience with sales tax administration and filings Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret financial data
