About This Opportunity The Data Governance and Data Loss Prevention team is executing a strategic roadmap to protect all Sensitive data from unauthorized exfiltration, including PCI, PII, PHI, security secrets, and company intellectual property. The role concentrates on planning and executing controls to protect Sensitive Data types across platforms such as email, endpoint browsers, AI applications, and cloud resources.

Responsibilities

Gather, normalize, analyze, and communicate data to define a baseline of who exfiltrates a given data type.

Validate the accuracy of tool data with users for each data type.

Fine‑tune tools for accuracy through programmatic research and testing.

Design and implement iterative rollout plans prioritizing production impact, user experience, and success metrics.

Lead implementations to completion.

Engage in cross‑collaboration, cross‑training, mentorship, automation, and continuous monitoring activities related to data protection and loss prevention.

Qualifications

Hands‑on experience installing, configuring, and maintaining at least two of the following: Microsoft Purview DLP and Defender, Zscaler ZIA (inline DLP and endpoint DLP), or Wiz.

Experience installing, configuring, or maintaining at least one of the following tool groups: Proofpoint, McAfee DLP, Symantec DLP, Forcepoint, Code42, Checkpoint, Varonis, Microsoft Information Protection MIP, BigID, or enterprise browsers (e.g., Island), SIEMs, SOAR, or Python.

Knowledge or experience with at least two of the following areas: server/system administration, database/system administration, coding/scripting, API integration, project/program management or incident response, communications/public speaking, advanced writing, soft skills development, leadership development and mentorship.
