Project Engineer – E2 Optics

We are looking for a Program Engineer with deep expertise in hyperscale data center construction and retrofit. The role manages engineering efforts across national program projects, leading multi‑million‑dollar new construction and retrofit projects.

What You’ll Do

Follow safety practices and promote core values to safeguard a family‑centric culture.

Provide field and project engineering support, including quality control, contract administration, shop drawing review, submittals, scheduling, RFIs, and related project functions.

Establish methods for field testing administration and develop practices to monitor testing quality.

Manage and coordinate closeout operations, review and validate test reports, redlines, as‑built drawings, warranties, and required documentation per contracts.

Create frameworks to develop project metrics and manage data collection.

Operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs if required.

Travel minimally (5%).

What We’re Looking For

High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Sciences, Management, or Engineering preferred.

7‑10+ years of construction, telecommunications, or data center industry experience, with strong background in engineering, pre‑construction activities, and estimating.

PMP certification preferred; RCDD or DCDC preferred; BICSI Technician preferred; OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred; First Aid and CPR certified preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and collaborative skills.

Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills; large data center construction, design, and technical knowledge preferred; documented designer skills; Blue Beam experience highly preferred.
