Job Overview The Senior JD Edwards E1 Software Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the development life cycle. This role works with analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, and unit test solutions to meet quality and performance requirements.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate effective working relationships with key stakeholders
Use advanced skills to solve technical problems
Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues
Hands‑on JDE E1 development work
Work with analysts, architects, and project managers to develop technical design documents
Perform advanced IT tasks with minimal supervision
Maintain composure and professionalism in a software engineering environment
Manage multiple changing priorities and tasks
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years direct experience with at least 3 of the following: REST, SOAP, Oauth 2.0; JSON, XML, XLST; Python, Groovy, SQL, SSIS; Postman, SOAPUI, JDeveloper; Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS, Docker; EDI/X12, Cleo, SPS Commerce, Gentran
Experience with JD Edwards E1 9.1, 9.2 and E1 tools: RDA, FDA, BDA, TDA
Experience with JDE Orchestrator, UX One, BSFN, and BI Publisher
Confident in creating UDOs (E1 Pages, OneView, Watchlists, etc.)
Advanced SQL, DML, and DDL for data analysis and KPI development
Knowledge of DevOps/SDLC methods, release strategy, and DB schema design
Experience with interface architecture principles for resilience and persistence schemes
Adaptable to new technical innovations and business processes
Technical Skills
Experience with JD Edwards Orchestrator, Oracle Integration Cloud, IBM App Connect Pro, SAS web Methods, MuleSoft
Advanced knowledge of DevOps/SDLC and release strategy
Proficient in SQL, DML, and DDL for advanced queries and KPIs
Understanding of interface architectural principles and best practices
