Job Summary Comcast Business is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive 3 to drive growth in new markets by developing territories and selling our strategic products and managed solutions. This role is responsible for acquiring and managing mid‑market and enterprise‑level, multi‑location commercial customers through both direct and partner channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled relationship builder, and expert in complex solution selling.
Core Responsibilities
Physically attend on‑site team meetings, trainings, door‑to‑door prospecting and client appointments in Rochester, Albany, Syracuse and White Plains, NY*.
Develop and execute strategic plans for assigned sales territory, including identifying and cultivating local partnerships, organizational affiliations, and strategic business opportunities.
Proactively research and generate new business leads through cold calling, canvassing, referrals and partner relationships.
Build strong relationships and ensure alignment and regular communication with key go‑to‑market (GTM) partners to drive collaboration and sales success.
Create and deliver compelling in‑person sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing deep knowledge of Comcast Business products and services.
Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to effectively position Comcast Business solutions in the marketplace.
Ensure a superior customer experience by delivering on the Comcast Credo and building long‑term relationships to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status and performance metrics.
Regularly meet with clients in the field, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Acumen in Network Design, SD‑WAN, Network Security, MAN technologies (WDM, Ethernet, Internet), Voice Network Technologies (VoIP), Data Networking, Networking Protocols, Customer Premise Equipment, Cybersecurity and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery concepts.
Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters and remain available to work nights, weekends and variable schedules as needed.
Qualifications
5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications, IT, or managed services.
Proven track record of success in selling complex, multi‑product solutions to enterprise clients.
Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred).

Salary Primary Location Pay Range: $69,657.00 – $116,095.00
Additional Range: This job can be performed in New York with a Pay Range of $66,174.15 – $145,118.75
Targeted Commission: $65,000.00
Education Bachelor’s Degree (preferred; candidates with extensive related experience may be considered).
