As a Part‑time Behavior Specialist, you will deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) – based support in homes, centers, and community settings, helping children develop communication, social interaction, and daily routine skills.

Pay & Benefits:
$22–$27 per hour, bonus eligibility, paid drive time & mileage reimbursement, CSD‑issued cell phone, and free tuition through the Dreams Come True program.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct 100% of scheduled sessions, unless authorized time‑off or client cancellation occurs.
Substitute for other clients to maintain productivity margin; subbing sessions typically occur on Saturdays and within employee availability.
Implement individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans directed by the Clinical Director, Senior Clinical Leader, and clinical staff.
Travel to center, home, and community settings to deliver services.
Render completed session notes daily and write thorough documentation.
Communicate schedule changes and cancellations to the clinical team immediately.
Participate in regular meetings, promptly communicate with Clinical Leaders via email and phone regarding treatment plans, family concerns, and questions.
Complete necessary clinical documentation, including Daily Treatment Session Notes, Daily Treatment Target Data, and daily behavior data.
Maintain updated site‑related documents and current clinical reports for each child served.
Stay current regarding new research, trends, and developments in special education and related fields.
Attend staff meetings, in‑services, trainings, and other meetings as requested.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Flexible availability—high demand for Monday‑Thursday 3‑8 pm and Saturday.
Complete new‑hire training (online and in‑person).
Proof of required vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, and COVID – California mandated).
Reliable transportation.
Sensitivity to working with a diverse population.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good judgment and decision‑making skills.
Confidentiality and discretion regarding workplace.
Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.
Computer and word processing proficiency.
Physical Requirements
Constant visual stimulation (close, distance, reading, computer work).
Constant sitting; frequent up and down.
Constant telephone use, speaking, listening.
Constant document handling, copier and fax use, filing.
Frequent typing, use of computer.
Occasional walking around building.
Occasional bending, reaching, stooping, pulling.
Occasional lifting, carrying, moving up to 20 lb.
Occasional walking to, bending to enter, sitting and using upper and lower limbs to drive car.
Occasional lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading toys and materials used in home visits (10%).
