$85,000–$105,000 annually, based on years of experience

Rush Physical Therapy in Chicago, IL has a unique opportunity for a pelvic health therapist who is interested in working side by side with the Gender‑Affirming Team at Rush Hospital. This Pelvic Health Physical Therapist will work alongside Rush Hospital surgeons and the clinical team providing surgical Gender‑Affirming procedures. The role involves providing pre‑operative consultations, patient education, peri‑operative therapy, acute post‑operative care, and supporting the individual through recovery. Collaboration with the gender‑affirm team, other physical therapists, and cross‑country peers is required. This full‑time position splits time carrying a caseload of pelvic health patients in the Gender‑Affirming clinic and a caseload in one of our Rush Physical Therapy Outpatient Clinics within Chicagoland. Mentoring will be provided. A good fit is someone with confidence, patient education skills, and strong collaboration with other health professionals including physical therapists.
Responsibilities
Conduct pre‑operative consultations and patient education.
Provide peri‑operative therapy and acute post‑operative care.
Collaborate with the gender‑affirm team, surgeons, and other PTs.
Support patients through recovery and coordinate care across the network.
Qualifications
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
Current State PT license or eligibility for licensure in Illinois.
CPR certification.
Experience in pelvic health or related specialty preferred.
