Overview
Join the Johns Hopkins Intrastaff team as a Pediatric Cardiac OR Physician Assistant. This temporary, full‑time position supports the surgical team in the Johns Hopkins pediatric cardiac program. Responsibilities
Evaluate patient health status through diagnostic procedures and tests under physician direction. Provide first and second assist support to the surgical team during pediatric cardiac operations. Deliver therapeutic patient care in outpatient clinic, pediatric cardiac OR, procedural areas, intensive care units, and progressive/acute care units. Schedule
Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Weekend and on‑call responsibilities required. Qualifications
AMA‑approved Physician Assistant program completion. Registered/certified by the Maryland Board of Quality Assurance. Board‑certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (or certification‑eligible for new graduates). Current CPR certification. AHA BLS & PALS certification. Two (2) years of pediatric cardiac experience required. Enrollment record in PECOS required for Medicare eligibility; submit an enrollment application if not currently enrolled. Compensation
$150 per hour. Benefits
