Overview
CGI is looking for a strong Automation Tester with the ability to independently work alongside the client, business, and development teams. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing tests to ensure the quality and functionality of systems, documenting test results, and collaborating with development teams to resolve identified issues. This position is located in Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and product testing parameters. Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies. Identify test scenarios and create detailed test cases. Perform manual and automation testing using Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, etc. Own, create, and execute automation test pipelines in CI/CD processes. Perform exploratory testing using various modern tools and techniques. Report test results and defects to the development team and stakeholders and drive resolution. Analyze test results to identify weaknesses and provide data-driven recommendations. Work with testing tools such as JUnit, SoapUI, Postman, Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, JMeter, DBeaver, OpenTelemetry, Docker, etc. Experience with Functional, Integration, and Regression Testing; knowledge of Performance and Security Testing. Support User Acceptance Testing preparation and execution. Experience in SAFe Agile environments and understanding expectations. Present test results to Management and clients. Understand DevOps lifecycle, test environments, and code promotion. Provide suggestions to improve QA processes and promote continuous improvement. Handle fast-paced environments with tight deadlines. Required Qualifications
8+ years of testing experience with a strong testing process and defect management. Excellent in Java programming and object-oriented concepts. Strong in JUnit, SOAP UI, JMeter, OpenTelemetry, Selenium, and Cucumber. Exposure to automated testing; excellent data automation skills and SQL. Experience with Agile testing, API/UI/database testing; strong communication and collaboration skills. Open to change and continuous improvement. Desired Qualifications
Automation experience with Selenium and Cypress. Candidates with Selenium/Cucumber/BDD framework exposure preferred. API Automation experience. Compensation
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The current range in the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $150,800.00, depending on factors including skill set, level, experience, training, and certifications. Benefits (CGI Federal)
