Overview
Procurement Sourcing Manager (Hybrid) at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. Leads end‑to‑end sourcing of lower complexity initiatives, manages a team of sourcing associates, engages stakeholders, negotiates contracts, and maintains compliance with corporate policies and federal regulations. Responsibilities
Oversee the end‑to‑end sourcing process for lower complexity sourcing initiatives and direct the day‑to‑day operations of a team of Sourcing Associates. Lead stakeholder engagement and develop project objectives, requirements, and sourcing strategy prior to supplier engagement, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contract drafting in accordance with corporate policies. Conduct negotiations, draft contracts and purchase orders, collaborate with legal and risk groups, and manage supplier performance to achieve cost reduction and improved service levels. Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a relevant field, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. Experience : 5 years in sourcing, procurement, or supplier development; 1 year supervisory or progressive leadership experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent project and time management skills, including risk assessment and work plan development. Ability to toggle between strategic and detail‑oriented thinking. Proficient with complex problem‑solving to achieve process improvements. Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office, especially Excel. Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and rapidly changing environments. Effective presentation, negotiation and influencing skills to interface with all levels of management and suppliers. Strong interpersonal communication and relationship building. Ability to meet deadlines and provide positive customer service, even with challenging customers. Salary Range
$108,480 – $201,366 Benefits
