Perfusionist: Heart of the Operation
We are seeking an experienced
Staff Perfusionist
to join our brand new SpecialtyCare team in
Austin, TX
at
St. David’s Healthcare Network .
The team will consist of two Area Clinical Managers, ten Perfusionists, one ECMO Coordinator, ten ECMO Specialists and six Clinical Technicians – Autotransfusionist supporting nine highly talented surgeons. The adult caseload includes CABGs, valves, VAD, HIPEC, and Aortic Reconstruction Surgeries.
Responsibilities
Graduate of an accredited Perfusion training program.
Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or meet other company requirements.
Ability to work on call; must live within 30 minutes of the hospital.
Maintain a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional and personal values that complement the team and company vision.
Focus on clinical quality and delivering the absolute best results for patients.
Adapt and thrive in a high‑stress environment.
Excellent communication and basic computer skills.
Work independently and as part of the OR team.

Qualifications
Accredited Perfusion training program graduate.
ABCP certification or equivalent.
Current or soon-to-be-eligible perfusion license.
