Responsibilities

Supervise all on-site activities, ensuring projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budget goals.

Enforce OSHA standards, site safety protocols, and industry best practices to maintain a safe work environment.

Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient workflows.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address challenges, and uphold project specifications.

Review project plans, schedules, and budgets, and provide updates to stakeholders.

Lead site meetings, maintain clear communication, and resolve conflicts or challenges as they arise.

Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local building codes and regulations.

Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering professional development.

Maintain accurate project records, including schedules, budgets, and safety compliance documentation.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Site Superintendent or similar role in commercial and government construction projects.

Certifications: OSHA certifications (30-hour minimum required) and site safety training are mandatory.

Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple subcontractors and timelines.

Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, project specifications, and technical documents.

Regulations Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of building codes, safety protocols, and federal/state regulations.

Technology: Proficient in construction management software and basic computer applications.

Other Requirements: Valid driver's license, ability to travel to various project sites, and the physical stamina to work on active construction sites.
