Responsibilities
Competent at operating control software applications.
Develop simple databases based on a written sequence of operation.
Read and identify mechanical equipment on floor plans.
Commission projects with assistance from senior-level engineers.
Fill out commissioning documentation.
Identify mechanical equipment for drawings and in the field.
Identify equipment deficiencies.
Understand simple electrical control circuits.
Understand simple networking principles.
Coordinate work with Mesa electricians.
Understand and identify the contractual scope of work.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience.
4+ years of relevant experience, with at least two years as an automation technician.
Working knowledge of at least one HVAC controls system (preferably Delta, JCI or Andover).
Knowledge of mechanical systems.
Ability to interface with customers and contractors at a supervisory and management level.
Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and computer programming.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good computer skills, understanding of controls networking.
A valid driver’s license.
Compensation $36.00 - $48.00 per hour
