Tenure Track Professor of Organizational Behavior The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University invites applications for a tenure‑track Assistant Professor in the Management area to join a faculty group in the organizational behavior specialization.

Compensation The salary range for this position is $150,000 – $190,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, and may include additional benefits.

Responsibilities

Develop a scholarship program focused on theory‑driven empirical research in organizational behavior, addressing micro, meso, and macro‑level phenomena.

Publish in top management journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Management Science, Organization Science, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and the Journal of Applied Psychology.

Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in management and organizational behavior.

Serve on departmental, college, and university committees, contributing to the academic mission and community engagement.

Engage in service activities that foster Georgetown’s values‑based, global, and ethical educational environment.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in business, psychology, sociology, or a related discipline, or an expected Ph.D. before commencement of duties.

Outstanding research record in organizational behavior, including published peer‑reviewed articles in leading management journals.

Proven ability to secure external funding for research projects.

Demonstrated excellence in teaching, including experience with diverse student populations.

Commitment to inclusive excellence and a track record of service to academia and the broader community.
