ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, PROJECT MANAGEMENT POSITION OVERVIEW The Associate Director, Project Management has the primary responsibility to coordinate the execution of all projects (TV, Digital, Print, Mobile, etc.) for all assigned brands and is the team’s project management lead, ultimately responsible for the delivery of high-quality deliverables that power client satisfaction, meet business requirements, and balance client and agency economics. The Associate Director of PM position requires a sufficient breadth and depth of expertise in the agency’s capabilities to lead large multi-disciplinary teams of people to successfully deliver integrated client solutions for a large portfolio of brands.

The Associate Director, Project Management is an enthusiastic problem solver and thrives on being engaged at all levels of the project. As the key point of contact for both the client and the project team, the Associate Director plays a pivotal role in the success of an engagement. You will be responsible for projects with budgets of 5MM+ and ensuring that the team delivering the work has everything they need to make Famously Effective work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities include overseeing the Project Management capability, including workflow and resource management through creative, account management, editorial, production and finance teams

Manage schedules, budgets, scopes, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon.

Responsible for developing and managing the project plan and working with discipline leads and project teams to execute plans.

Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals, accountable for accuracy and maintenance of all team SOWs.

Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance.

Manage peer-level client Ops Team relationships (expectations, communications, negotiations, escalation, and feedback)

Develop relationships with and ensure the appropriate participation of key client stakeholders and client executives in the delivery of high quality, compliant materials.

Mentor and coach project management team members.

Manage production vendors and agencies.

Update timelines based on client and/or internal changes, keeping accurate timelines throughout the life of the job.

Consistently identify needs which clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.

Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback.

Review weekly estimates v. actuals and submit accurate timesheets daily.

Coordinate and run weekly status meeting and provide day-to-day project status to the team.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Proven project management, time management, organization, and prioritization skills

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks

High level of language and communication skills

Experience mentoring and managing 1 or 2 team members

8+ years’ experience within Advertising

Pay Range

$60,000 - $140,000 USD
